Refraction in Venice

This Weekly Photo Challenge brings us in Venice.

We are fairly off the beaten path area, close to Campo San Barnaba. It’s a surprisingly mild February afternoon.  The sky is cristal clear, and the light is pure magic.

I was shooting “classical” pictures. Gondolas. Channels. The old stuff.

But then I realized that the palaces reflections in the calm channel water looked liked impressionist paintings, and I start concentrating my shots just on them.

I really like these pictures, especially the last ones. I hope you will enjoy them too.
